Tools for Planning and Understanding Your Credit
Below are tools you can use to help you plan your transfer to WSU and understand your pathway to a WSU degree. If you have any questions regarding these resources – let us know! You can access more information about these tools using the menu or through the link provided.
The Transfer Course Search tool assists with planning the transfer of courses to WSU. Updated equivalencies are always being added, and the information is subject to change.
The Transfer Credit Report (TCR) is used to display the evaluation of your transfer credit to WSU. The TCR is posted at the time of a completed admissions application and when updated transcripts are submitted after that point. Please visit the Submitting Transcripts webpage and contact Admissions for guidance on transcript processes.
The course evaluation request form can be used if you identify a transfer course in the search tool that does not have a direct equivalency, or it has an expired date, or you would like it evaluated for another WSU course or requirement.
The Transfer Center works closely with all WSU academic departments to ensure there is access to information to assist mapping transfer course equivalencies to degree requirements. Please visit academics.wsu.edu to access program information and contacts, and the WSU online catalog academic units section contains the most recent course and degree requirement information.
You can identify how credits transfer to WSU using the Transfer Course Search tool, and in addition to individual course requirements it is also beneficial to understand how degrees transfer. Please don’t hesitate to also reach out to your personal WSU admissions counselor for guidance.
