National Transfer Student Week
Join us for our main event this year celebrating our transfer students here at WSU! Our team will be in Terrell Mall handing out pumpkin painting kits on October 22nd from 11:30am-1:00pm. This is a first come, first serve event and there are only 50 kits available. When you pick up your kit you can sign up for our raffle to win some WSU swag too! Don’t miss your chance to welcome Fall, enter the raffle, and celebrate WSU’s transfer students! This is a no-commitment event, you can grab your kit and go or you can hang out with us and show us how you decorate your pumpkin! However you choose to participate, make sure that after you grab your kit, you high-five a transfer student!
The purpose of National Transfer Student Week is to acknowledge and celebrate the journey of transfer students and all those who support them. We are excited to collaborate with campus partners to champion the WSU transfer student experience and get students connected to campus resources and support systems.
We are offering a diverse slate of events for various transfer audiences, and we are excited to share just a few profiles of our amazing transfer students. Prospective transfer students can find more information about admissions, academic programs, financial aid and scholarships, and more at transfer.wsu.edu.
1:1 Virtual Appointments
Students interested in any WSU campus can sign up for a 30-minute appointment with a Transfer Center staff member on Monday, October 21 through Friday, October 25. *Please note current transfer students may also sign up for these appointments, but they will not replace their primary advisor appointment for registration purposes.
